Creatively connecting communities

Community Murals - Where creativity meets community power.

At Seekers Create, our murals aren’t just about painting walls — they’re about bringing people together, sparking joy, and celebrating what’s already strong in a community.

We use a creative, asset-based approach — working with local people to uncover the stories, skills and symbols that make each place unique. From school halls to high streets, we turn bricks into belonging.

Every mural is co-designed through playful, participatory workshops that invite all ages to take part — because art made with people, not for them, builds lasting pride and connection.

Each wall tells a deeper story — and every brushstroke belongs to the community.
Here are a few of our projects:

People of Paulsgrove

People of Paulsgrove is a bold, co-created mural designed with over 1,000 local schoolchildren, families, and residents. Spanning a huge community wall, the artwork weaves together personal stories, memories, and symbols of place — capturing the spirit, pride, and resilience of this unique Portsmouth neighbourhood. Led by Seekers Create, the project is a vibrant example of community art in action.
