Messages of Love and Hope ​Doodle Gallery

As part of this year’s Let’s Get Talking About Suicide event, Seekers Create will transform our tent into a temporary doodled gallery called Messages of Love and Hope. This participatory exhibition invites local artists and communities to respond to the theme through creativity, reflection, and connection. Over the years, we’ve contributed large-scale murals and public artworks at this event—each shaped by conversations, stories, and shared expression. This year, we're bringing it into the heart of the park with a walk-in doodled gallery filled with mixed-media pieces and public contributions.
Get Involved
​We're inviting you to take part in two ways:

  • Create live inside the gallery space during the event
  • Run a 1-hour creative workshop in the tent between 11am–3pm (we’ll help with materials)

Whether you’re an experienced artist, a community member with something to say, or someone who wants to offer a creative session, we want to hear from you.

The feedback we had from previous events has been a positive one with services saying that the community were open to seeking support and those that have lost someone were grateful of the knowledge of a community of people who understood what they were going through.

Following the success of last years community event we will again come together on September 6th 2025 for a day filled with love and hope in Victoria Park Portsmouth. Here’s a link to a short film of previous events.
