We’re inviting families far and wide,
From Cosham cafés to the seaside tide,
To doodle, rhyme, and shout out loud--
Your Portsmouth story makes us proud!

With SEND FACES we’ll write and draw,
From Fratton streets to Victoria’s awe.
Our workshops bring big laughs and cheer,
And your artwork will be on display right here!

At every stop, we’ll learn and play,
Then turn your work into a bold display!
From playful poems to doodle delight,
We’ll fill each space with colour and light.
Inspired by Roald Dahl and Dr. Seuss,
We’ll let imagination loose!

Together we’ll create with joy and pride--
And showcase your story from inside!

Seekers are delighted to be collaborating with Portsmouth Creates & SEND Faces as part of In Our Words—a year-long celebration of literature, literacy, and storytelling taking place all across Portsmouth in 2025.

​From poems to performances, In Our Words brings stories to life through creativity, connection, and community—making space for every voice to be heard.

The festival is led by Portsmouth Creates, a not-for-profit organisation that believes creativity should be for everyone. Their work supports local people, places, and stories—building pride in our city and celebrating what makes Portsmouth unique.
