Uncovering The Mary Rose In Popular Culture With University of Portsmouth
Seekers have been in the studio with University of Portsmouth and The Mary Rose film crew.
We’re filming a documentary alongside other artists who are part of an exciting new project called ‘Pop Goes The Mary Rose!’ We’re celebrating popular culture and the places and spaces our beloved Mary Rose has featured.
Did you know that Monopoly, Cludeo, and Top Trumps have all made Mary Rose special editions of their games? Not to mention the books, music, and TV shows!
Seekers have been working with KoCreate and Dynamite to explore The Mary Rose in news ways, using Seekers word doodle to inspire new thinking. We gamified our findings and exhibited at Portsmouth Comic Con, where people had the opportunity to play Seekers Shipwrights and Shipwrights game!
