Trail Making

Seekers trail making activities include a mixture of creative digital skills, and outdoor learning. Seekers set challenges designed to get young and old people engaging with their community and exploring their hometown. Each step is carefully recorded using a mixture of smartphone technologies, traditional forms of communications and Seekers’ own visual aids/templates. Seekers bring people together to build strong relationships in & across communities to improve the places & spaces that matter. We provide the space & structure for young people to participate & co-create.

Points of Interest

​​There are many suitable points of interest and subjects to transform into trails. We've created a guidebook and journal to help the young people who participate in our programme. 

Virtual Trails

Seekers work with young people to create virtual trails. These are map-like drawings with multimedia and web linked content. Seekers provide technical support for any trail or educational ideas our young people come up with during the course of the programme. ​​

Physical Trails

Seekers set physical trail challenges at various locations in and around Portsmouth.
This may include visiting locations to look for points of interest or hunt for hidden markers and clues along our trail route. You may be given a map or co-ordinates to follow. We may ask you to take photographs and video clips using your Smartphone.

Seekers trails are self-led and accessible to people in our community and people visiting Portsmouth.
